frequently asked questions:
what is rush?

Rush is a time for us to meet and get to know girls who are interested in our organization. It is a week full of fun events where you can meet new people, get to know the sisters of Chi Delta Theta and learn what our organization is all about!
This is a great opportunity to ask us any questions you may have to help you decide if you'd like to join. These events are created to acquaint you with the purpose & goals of our sorority, as well as to meet our sisters and have some fun!
who can join chi delta theta?
Anyone can join! We are an Asian-American interest sorority, which means we strive to promote awareness and knowledge about Asian cultures on campus and throughout the community. You don’t have to be Asian to join! As long you have an interest, you can join. Chi Delta Theta does not discriminate against race, religion, or national origin.

Do you have to pay to rush?

Absolutely not! Rush events are all FREE of charge and rides will be provided to off campus locations. Snacks and food will also be provided at events.
if i rush, am i obligated to join?

If I rush, am I obligated to join?

Nope! Rush is a time for you to learn about our siblinghood. There is no obligation to join by rushing. Just take this chance to see if this is something you might be interested in and have fun!
It definitely isn't! We have many siblings who actively participate in many other organizations such as PCN, TASA, KASA, KP, AACF, etc. They have all managed their time wisely and honestly won't be that much of an issue! If you have more concerns regarding this specific topic, feel free to come out and speak to our siblings in person!
why should i go greek?
Greek life is a great way to get involved on campus and in the community! Greek students tend to get the best experience out of their college careers students and become well rounded and obtain valuable skills for the future.

Greek Organizations can offer opportunities in:
Community Service, Leadership & Networking skills, Scholarships, and most importantly, friendships that will last a lifetime.
